chipmunks

[Critter Crazy]

I have a brave chipmunk that goes into the coop through the chicken door, on a daily basis. he is adorable and very brave, he rant straight into my foot today, as I was collecting eggs. should I discourage him, or is he an okay pest???

We have chipmucks and squirrels who do the same. I love watching them and they dont bother me none, so I dont discourage them at all...JMO!

As long as he's not stealing to much feed or bothering anything, I would just leave him.

I had mine outside today for their first "free range." Two of them huffed up and chased off a squirrel! I applauded.

I find that they are pests so I just dispatch them. Personally I don't like animals that can bring bugs on them into the chicken coop. That includes some people.

He he he he hehe he! I do adore chipmunks, and he/she sure is a cutie. I guess he dosent bother the chickens, cause he was in there with some this morning, and they could care less!!
