Chirping?

Whenever my chicks chirp in the egg they always seem to fail to pip. Now i have one egg that is supposed to hatch tomorrow and is chirping. Is chirping okay or does it mean they cant get out? Please help. And if it means they cant get out should i do a help out? Thanks

Don't worry, chirping is perfectly fine. Chicks usually start pipping at day 19 and are out by day 21. Don't worry if they are slow or taking too long, they will get out on their own time, the only time I would help one out is if its on day 23. The reason why chicks can go for 48 hours without food after hatching, is to wait for his siblings to hatch while they are all under the hen. Just relax and leave him alone, it'l be ok
