Chocolate Birds in the US?

Chocolate is like "black on fire"

I've only seen pictures of Orps. I love Orps- in any color, but they just look brown to me. Maybe you have to see them in person to see a sheen?

Chocolate is nice, partly because it's different, but I think the chocolate partridge wyandottes are stunning.

Not sure if someone cleared it up but the chocolate polish, wyandottes, and games here in the US are all dun based.
And Krys, soon you can work on dun partridge right? I havent heard from you or mother on it since the last time we talked...

I just photographed my sexlinked chocolate japanese bantams, made by Sigrid van Dort with serama ancestry. The roo is a black split for chocolate.

The mottled hen is also a chocolate, a bit bleeched by the sun.

Hi! I had three odd-colored girls hatch from my mottled Cochin pen:

Might they be chocolate? They were young in the pics --- just about to start laying.
I have them with a 'regular' mottled Cochin but all that's hatched are more 'regular' mottled Cochins.
