This is Truffles... born, a milk chocolate color, at 1 week, 2 weeks, 3weeks, and almost 4 weeks old

These are a couple of F1's from a choc/choc cock over probably wheaten hens. There is a lot of pattern, a lot of red pigment, and not a lot of type. I have a lot of work to do, but my culls might be useful to introduce chocolate to Silkies, Cochins, etc. The red boy in the back of the second one is split for chocolate.

Not sure if Nezmee qualifies as choc or not. She used to be a very pretty chocolatey color but now has developed goldish colors on her breast. I always wondered what color she would be called.
