Chocolate Egger finally laying

Its the one in the middle. I trully expected them to be darker. A friend has one of the siblings and she is laying very dark eggs. Does anyone know if they get darker with time? She is a Silver Laced Wyandotte.

Wyandottes aren't supposed to lay dark eggs, actually. But no, they wont get any darker.

In reality, Wyandottes lay very pale eggs. Marans and Welsummers lay dark eggs.
 
Most Cuckoo Marans lay very poor examples of "dark" eggs, but in general, one will usually lay an egg just a tad darker than her first few. I just would have to warn you not to expect anything truly "dark" though. . .
 
Thanks for the info. Just thought that maybe she would lay as dark as her sibling like the ones in you profile pic. Hers look just like yours. Merry Xmas!
