NICE! She is cute!

I'm glad that split male is working out for you! Did you see I got my first eggs about a month ago? They are on the minty green side, but I haven't had any of my chocolate girls lay anything that was "khaki" with that brown tint.

Pips and Peeps,
No, I hadn't seen the post about your first eggs. So cool! I wonder how many generations it may take to get the egg color blue again. I've lost 2 chocolate chicks but have 2 right now, The older one is beginning to feather and she's gorgeous! Just an F-1 and already has the pea comb, totally rumpless and one big tuft. The younger chick was just hatched recently and she may be chocolate mottled, birchen or both.

Here are some recent pics of Snickers

This is the younger chick, no name yet.

I just love Cracker Jack, I can't thank you enough!

I'd love to see pictures of the eggs. It's going to be next year before I have eggs but I'll post when my girls begin laying

I'll try to get some tonight when I collect eggs. They have been a little slow the last week or so, we finally got the hot weather the rest of the US is getting.
