No. You will get approximately 50% chocolate, 50% black. All will have one copy of mottle. Breed the chocolate ones back to mottle. Some should be chocolate mottled.this is the dun gene. choc is not in polish.

im just going off of what u will read in a genetics book, sometimes (depending on heritage of the birds) they do not follow the rules, especially in serama
for example, i bred a chocolate hen to a blue rooster, got some copper (chocolate) colored chicks, some pure blue, and some blue with a chocolate tint.

Here is a true mottled chocolate - Mother was a solid chocolate hen, father a chocolate carrier that is wheaten and carries a single mottling gene. Note the chocolate color on her beak and legs.




And here is my mottled chocolate frizzle hen, out of a chocolate carrying rooster.

And the black rooster they are with now (except the frizzled, who is not laying yet). I'm getting a lot of eggs from this pen of 3 hens. I should have some chicks in the next couple of weeks, I hope!
