Cool, I live in McNeal. I bought these in Whetstone. We are just right up the road from each other. We need to contact each other and trade ideas. I don't know about you but, this is a hard place to sell anything. I have Midget Whites and some very nice Rhode Island Reds. Not the feed store or hatchery variety.

OK! so you did go see Carolyn! She's fun!! I KNEW it was her birds! I dont have a hard time selling much. You probably saw my ads on CL, sold some geese and ducks myself awhile ago. Maybe it's McNeal that is hard to sell from?

Could be McNeal but, I've always been willing to deliver. I'm not sure people understand the differance between a heritage RIR and a production red in this area. These could easily win awards at Cochise County fair. Anyway, did we get nice ducks? I'm not real knowlegable about ducks. Will they do OK on laying pellets?

Im sure they will do fine on layer pellets. I always get layer crumble.... from Walmart .....

I have my scovies in with my chickens. I have Javas and Delawares, and no problems with them all being together. My only complaint is that they do have one favorite hen that they like to mouth her tail feathers/hind end. She has no tail anymore. Darn ducks.
