Chocolate Orpington?

I have 3 English Chocolate Orpington hens, 3 "hatchery" CO hens, 1 silver laced chocolate hen, 1 English CO roo and 1 "hatchery" CO roo. Some of the chicks are clearly chocolates then I'm getting 2 other variations as well.

What is going on here? All these chicks were from chocolate eggs.

That's interesting. In theory, chocolate x chocolate should produce 100% chocolate chicks. Do you have any pictures of the parents?

Almost all those look black to me.

Beside the black Australorp hens I have they're definitely chocolate/brown in color.

Are you sure? The hen on the left in this picture looks pretty black beside that dark chocolate hen.

Any pictures of the roosters?
