I went to Atwoods today and found an oddly colored duckling. I just had to get her and of course I couldn’t get just one. Lol! she looks like a Rouen but instead of black and yellow she is chocolate brown and cream. For her friends I chose a properly marked Rouen (to compare as they grown) and either a Magpie or Ancona. Black Swedish and Cayuga were also in the assortment for sale with the ducklings I bought.

Here are some pictures of my new ducklings. What do you guys think?

I would say not a welsh harlequin duckling. Welsh harlequins are snowy in color, or chocolate snowy if they are gold phase, so they are all yellow as ducklings with some black stippling on the tips of the down. They also would not have eyestripes, as a properly colored snowy cannot have eyestripes because of the genetics of the harlequin gene.

I agree that it may be chocolate. In the US, mallard color with added chocolate is often referred to as 'nutmeg'.
