Thank youBeautiful calls and I love the little ring teal.
So interesting the colors the little things come in.The darker one of them (the one that almost came over the board) is a gray pied. The 2 lighter ones (the hen doesn't have a real clear ring) are nutmeg pied.
They seem to come in a bajillion colors which actually makes it a LOT harder. LOL It's easy to get distracted by a new "shiny"So interesting the colors the little things come in.
There is a partial "catalog" available in the Call Duck breeder store but seems like there are still more colors.I bet it is!! I'd love to see all the colors they come in on Calls like a catalog so you can see what they look like as ducklings and then adults and how the colors were made. I don't ask for much. lol
@Pyxis (hint hint)
I seem to have a particular fondness for wacky colors. LOL I currently have penciled, appleyards and nutmeg pied. They may or may not ever get recognized but that's ok with me. I enjoy breeding and exhibiting them and just have fun with it.My goodness I had no idea they came in so many colors and patterns. I will have to study this more. Are you working on a certain pattern or color or is this trade secrets?
I'm pretty sure we could make that happen tho j/sLol, perhaps another article in my future. Though I would then need pictures of all the colors, and that would be hard.
