Chocolate Silkie trio hatching different colored chicks?

Chocolate sire over non chocolate hens equals sex linked offspring with all females being chocolate.. IIRC!

Chocolate over blue.. might equal mauve.

See if this link has any insight or draws your interest..

I have done a lot of research on this since I started this thread, thank you so much for the link!

I have two chocolate pens now. Sexlink and a "fun pen". Sex link is the chocolate boy with a bunch of black hens and the fun pen is a blue boy I hatched from sexlink eggs(so he should be split if i know what im talking about lol) with a chocolate hen and a muave hen.

I have lots of eggs from the fun pen in my incubator on day 9 and after candling my sexlink eggs it looks like my rooster needs more time to fertilize every girl(I put the new girls in with him pretty recently). I'm anxiously waiting to see the results!

I don't quite understand how this website works if you couldn't tell lol.
It's not the same for everyone, either.

I can go mess with settings and turn on/off notifications for several different kinds of things (I think including my username being mentioned, being posts being quoted, any activity in a thread I'm watching) For any given thread, I can also choose to watch it or not watch it, and I can change all of those things at any time.

So there are plenty of options for being confusing, and for having one person get notified and another one not, even when you think you're doing the "same" thing for each one.
