Chocolate

Is chocolate bad for chickens, like it is for cats and dogs? I give my birds a lot of scraps, but i threw away a chocolate chip cookie today instead of giving it to them, worried it may harm them. I dont want to take the chance, any ideas?

I see it is on the NO NO list as is citrus and avocado.

If it was one cookie with just a few chocolate chips, don't think it would kill them...just don't be giving them giant Dark Chocolate Hersey Bars...send all those to me!
