Chokecherries/black cherries

Does anyone know if chokecherries/black cherries are toxic to chickens?

From what I read, humans eat them. They are poisonous for ruminants, but not others.

Have a lot of choke cherry trees here and so far I have had no issues with hens getting sick or death yet. I will from season to season pick chokecherries for myself as I make home made marinades for meats here. I will boil down the berries and crush the pulp and take the seeds out. I have fed my birds buckets of berries in a summer and leftovers from my home made stuff and never an issue?
Hope it is not doing harm anyways. Steve
