CHOKING DUCKLING HELPPP!!

So I was feeding my ducklings watermelon because I heard that they loved it. I chopped up some watermelon and I watched them eat it. But then one of them was shaking their head like crazy and then they threw up some watermelon. Then I put them in the tub to wash them because they had some watermelon on each other. While one was swimming a BIG chunk of watermelon came out of ones mouth!
How do I know if it’s okay now or if it needs to throw up more?

Also, is it okay for them to drink tap water? Because I’ve been using my fridge water and water bottles. But I feel like I’m going through to many water bottles and I feel like it would be cheaper if I just use tap water. But i’m not sure if it’s safe for them. HELPP!

no she just has a big chest. poop looks fine.

That means the duckling is okay and got a full croup!

If the symptoms have passed she should be fine. Well, you know now to cut the treats into smaller pieces. Are you aware when feeding treats grit should be provided on the side.
