I used the extra pieces that were for the toy box ,bench, etc. for my modifications. We painted it inside with exterior paint, sealed the outside with weather protector, added shingles, used thick plywood for the floor. Added thin plywood on the ceiling inside to cover up the nails that went through when adding shingles. We flipped the door upside down & cut off an extra piece to use it as a pop door (we needed to fix the door with extra wood on the side cause their was an inch gap & wasn't safe), & added roosts with an external nest box. It is great for a small flock! I wish it was bigger but for now it suits us fine. I love all the windows!
