Will be interesting to see how mop bucket turns out! I have a girl that was dark with gold eyebrows as a chick - she came from a black and a buff parent. She is a dark brown color with gold head neck and chest now. I’ll find a pic of her, just in case little mop bucket had the same cross of parents (if the breeder has buffs, it is possible!) I found a photo - she is on the far left.

Eightball hasn't done any more picking.. I dabbed a little oil on the membrane and move a tiny piece of shell....we'll see if she's out in the morning

At this point I'd rather check than wait on an egg that isn't going to hatch. Listen to the egg and candle it. I'd make a small pip hole either way. That way you know whether to wait or not.

ETA: If you don't hear anything at first, give the egg a few taps with your finger.

Yes, I opened the hole a little and pulled back a little membrane...but I saw a tiny bit of blood, so I stopped..will she be ok?

She definitely was alive..

I candle popcorn..didn't see any movement
