chooks standing on one leg

    my chooks are standing on one leg. I live in area where temp is about 10deg centrigade at night.
    could it just be cold? although they didn't do it through winter when it often drops to zero

    and it is now coming into spring
    warmer weather as I live in Australia

    Check the scales on the legs and feet. Are they flat against the legs and feet or are they raised? Sometimes leg scaly mites will cause the scales to look raised and one of the first signs is they stand on one foot. If they are raised, you could try rubbing vaseline or veggie oil into the scales once a day to smother the mites.
