Christina, Look!

I finally got the eggs. No cracks in any of them and all the aircells look good In all 22 of them! Thanks Cyn! I found out why it took so long, the guy who usally stamps the box a million times with the red stamp that says priority took the day off I guess. So because the guy didnt do his job the box was sent parcel post (Federal Way) Priority goes to Seattle. Im going to set them after they warm up. I think with all that bubble wrap they should of been insulated enough. There was even bubble wrap around the inside of the box.

Keep your fingers crossed I get some to develop. I also talked to the postmistress and she is going to give me a partial refund for my shipping, I just have to bring the top of the box in. I will have to see how that goes.

Oh, my, GOSH!! That is ridiculous! I could swear I saw the lady put the Priority sticker on top of the box! I wonder if it didn't stick for some reason.
I can't believe they went all over the country and there isn't a crack or a blown aircell! That is wonderful. Now, if they just weren't too cold or hot along the way, maybe, just maybe you'll get a hatch out of this. Ill be anxiously awaiting your first candling.
I can breathe now.

Yea, they finally made it! I know if anybody's eggs could survive this, it will be Cynthia's. I'll be awaiting your first candling, too. I'm very excited about getting Cynthia's eggs in Jan and this will be like a preview. Fingers still crossed, only know for a good hatch.

WOW! What a story! They could all be called superhero names when they hatch. They can be The WonderChicks. LOL Can't wait to hear about them on your first candling!!

I can't take all the credit for packing the way I do-I learned from some of the best egg packers on BYC, Lisa, Jaynie, Gina, Mel, Julie, DitzzyChic and others. These ladies were mailing eggs way before I ever thought of doing it. I'm just so glad that they're now home where they belong, seemingly none the worse for wear, just a bit older than we'd like at this point, but I'm still hopeful for them.

WTH did they go to Fedway?! Thats on the other side of ME! Should of just sent them to me instead and picked them up here, would of been a little less traveled. Geesh! I have not read more but I hope your eggs have made it safe and sound!

Edited to say:
Glad they made it safe and hope for a good hatch!

I also signed up for email updates for every time that pkg was scanned. Do you think I got them? Take a guess.
They should give you a refund for Priority Shipping when they sent it Parcel Post.

Thanks everyone for letting me vent my frustration, makes me feel better. We are going to get around 14 inch of snow tonight so I have to stay at my mothers on the coast. My DH is a doll he is all worryed about the eggs, so he is going to set them for me tonight. I have them resting aircells up and he has watched me several times, so he will be okay doing it. He called me around 2pm to make sure the temp and humidity was right. I think he has caght the hatching bug lol.

I'll let you know what the PO says about my refund or what they plan on doing. I know most of the ladys on a first name basis, so I hope that helps.
