Anecdotally, it seems like my hatches tend to skew more heavily male, but I haven't yet had an all-cockerel hatch. 
Kudos for keeping a good attitude about your hatch, and I hope the cockerel you keep becomes a great flock rooster! I'm a rooster fan and can't imagine having a flock without at least one. How would I have fertile eggs to support my hatching habit, right??
