I've been really happy with it, works like a dream for me, those two reviews on hsn have not applied to mine or Acre's at all..she bought one too. I would give it an A+ and I was working on my daughter's machine, a White brand. The broad base and the stitches and the self threading, on and on, make this one so much nicer, 4 feed dogs too!

SE, those Dresden plate blocks are stunning, I have seen pictures of whole quilts made with those. So it's piecing and then applique the finished plate on a background fabric, right? (along with some really careful sewing)

I'm gonna be spending the day ironing all the fabrics and seeing which ones compliment/contrast with each other to make my blocks with. Slowly but surely will have to do it for me this time, as I want these blocks to be special.
