Lovely blocks Kat. Good choice. Our blocks began their long swim yesterday morning. In fact I was blocked in the post office car park by a large post van. I made myself be patient with the thought that it would be the first step in the journey for our blocks which I had handed over the counter ten minutes earlier!

I had to chuckle, here is how we would have written your experience. "I was blocked in the post office parking lot by a large mail truck." It's like the" over the road", "across the street" thing,

for those of you that are lost, as you know over the road here is a long haul tractor trailer driver, in England it means at the neighbors, like we would say across the street.

Wow! I didn't realize I hadn't been on here for a while! Kat~hope your DH is feeling better. Went thru the same thing with my DH about 25-30 years ago. My DD had hers out in Sept, and then the next February, DH. That was quite a year!!

Also, I'm sorry to say I missed getting you the row by row from my quilt shop. Last Friday was the first time I had been there for 6-8 weeks. I didn't know there was a time limit and it was over. I will try to catch the next one for you. I almost forgot!!! I brought my Janome Skyline machine home last weekend!!!

I haven't gotten to sew on it yet.

I am still cutting the last part of my Christmas blocks out!

but no worries! I plan on starting to sew on them today. It is going to be my goal to work on them diligently this weekend to get them done. We are going on vacation on the 18th for a week, so I'm going to have them done no matter what, before we leave. I also bought a Cricut design and cut machine. It arrived and I played with it yesterday. Cut out paper letters for my Sunday school room bulletin board. That thing is amazing!!! It cuts almost anything, even Fabric! Can't wait to experiment with that! Maybe on my mug rug??!! Hmmm! I have the idea in my head, just getting it from there to the finished project will be the hard part!!

BTW~Love your blocks!!!

It's the thought that counts.
