it Rustyhen! did you do your embroidery by hand or machine?

Ohhappychicks, I used my( new to me )sewing machine for the embroidery and quilting it was fun to make. I used to hand embroider a lot but I have RA now, so not so easy.

Thank you for the link Fenrosie. That looks like something I need to try. I'm practicing on keeping my seams right. No matter how perfect I try to get them, I still get off and my block was 12.25 x 12.50. Here's the one I did. Different than the link.. so many ways to do things!

Rustyhen~ what kind of machine do you use? I'm kinda looking for a embroidery/quilting/everyday machine that has a deeper "throat" (distance between needle and inside edge of machine?), and speed control. But to buy a new one is out of my price range. I may go shopping to just look to see what kind of used ones are available. I have a friend who uses a babylock and absolutely loves it. I'm going to start at the shop she uses. She said they do have used ones. So I've been asking around to see who uses what and how they like them.

Look What I got!

I Love it , its just perfect. I fact I have decided that this will sit in my sewing room beside my sewing machine with me .

This came with Christmas stocking stuffers too,

that Sees chocolate candy is alredy gone... We can't get See's up here!
