Christmas in October block Swap

I think you must know the huge Cunard luxury cruise liners, Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria. It is Cunard's 175th anniversary. All three Queens are in port together for the first time ever and it's Liverpool as that is where Cunard and transatlantic travel began. Many of the USA ancestors from Europe will have started their transatlantic journey from Liverpool and probably by Cunard. It's a fantastic and historic occasion but the weather is foul!
P.s. Rosie was born for travel and holidays (vacations).

Thanks Ladies! My feed dogs do drop on my new machine. I keep tweaking my tension, but still see knots either one side or the other. I may go ahead and try it with my feed dog up. What size needle do you all use to free motion stitch? I have a 90/14 on now, I don't have any 80's. I have 100's. Going to research needle sizes and fabric again. I just always use the 90. I have my old machine that feed dogs do not drop. It has a cover that snaps over them. I tried fm on it, but didn't think it was very smooth. I am going back and try it again as I like the way my old one sews better than the new one. Will let you all know how it goes.
I use 90/14 topstitch needles.

Hi all. Rosie calling from Liverpool! Yes, I think I am three parts Arab as I am always on the move!
I have brought my 86 year old friend to see theese ships as she worked in shipping all her life. We have had a great time and drunk too much gin! She leads me astray!

I have been working on a wall hanging for a swap I'm doing on another site. It isn't finished, but it is close enough to see where I am going w/ it. Thought I'd share it here too.
