Katsdar~ the personalized M&M's are a cute idea! I've seen them used in weddings. Big hit! Your little bags turned out so lovely! Love the embellishment.

Majack~ I've only been apart of this swap for a very short time, but I've thoroughly enjoyed it and I've learned so much from all of you! All of you ladies are such a joy! This is the first swap group I've ever been apart of. Thank you all so much for letting me hang out with you!

I just got back from Shipshewana Indiana. Went with 3 friends from church for a couple of days. We had so much fun and I bought my fabric for my Christmas block!

We stayed in a bed and breakfast called "Bright Morning Star". Beautiful place and the Lady that owned it was a quilter! She showed me her basement that is all set up for a group to quilt in. She is trying to get something set up for a group to come and work on quilts. She also showed me her new Janome Skyline. I told her I was looking for a sewing/quilting/embroidery machine. It was a nice machine and she got it at a reasonable price at a quilt shop about 20 miles away. I didn't make it there, but DH and I are going to try to go back up soon so I can go look at the machines there. The area is the camper capital of the US I think! They make a lot of them in the area. We are looking to purchase a camper sometime in the future, so we can look at them also!

It was a very nice trip with lots of fun fellowship, shopping, good food, and beautiful scenery!

I was just on the website of the B & B we stayed at in Indiana. She can do quilting retreats! Wouldn't that be fun! I wasn't clear on what she was wanting to do when she was explaining it to me. I think she has had only one so far, but she asked me to spread the word on backyard chickens. I told her to join us if she wanted. Hopefully she will. She is a nice lady!

It would be Chicago or Indianapolis. It would be fun if some of our byc friends could get together for a retreat and work on some projects together! She can take up to ten people. There are several quilt shops in the area. I think I read on her website at least 6.
