Christmas in October block Swap

I know that fusing and not appliqueing will not work on an apron. First wash the edge lifted up in places and had to be stitched down then.
I don't think that you could get the quilting close enough to keep it from fraying away. Just my opinion.

I've seen lots of fused work with just quilting stitching on art quilts which can be very effective if you don't want a hard edge but these are works, sometimes very large, which are for the wall as Kassaundra says, but not ever likely to be washed.

Here is one that I saw in Holland last year at the Open European Quilt Championships (OEQC). It's very effective. Sorry the pics aren't better.

Nice pics, Majack

ok rehearsal dinner went very well, Some of you know that I had gotten some gingerbread from England and it was a hit, as well as my little bags filled with the M&M's that had the couples pic on them. Dinner was very good, everyone mingled nicely, decorations were wonderful, my girl did a great job, I had pics of the bride and groom from birth to now scattered all over the room and on the tables. Here is one pic of the 4 of us.

Lovely Family!!! Hope it was a wonderful, joyous day for all! I know right now you are resting!!! been there! 2 of my children were married a month apart. Thankfully, my son was the last and I didn't have to do much, but still a lot of work!!!
