Christmas is coming early Hatch-A-Long!

Now I want a Serama. Apparently I need chickens like Pokémon. Gotta hatch em all! (That was funny and yall know it!)
The seramas are completely adorable! Maybe someday I'll have some. My hubby now wants Old English bantams, so we have to work those in too somehow 🤣

Thanks for slipping "hatching" in there 😆 I don't know Pokémon but I have heard them talk about hatching. Yes, I'm of the age group when Pokémon was a thing, but no, I never did anything with it, I was the horse crazy nerdy girl so if it wasn't horses or a chance to play my electric bass, I wasn't interested 🤣

Come on Grinchy baby! Get in position, snag that yolk for energy, and come out of that shell!
I just watched the original Grinch cartoon last night 😃 and funnily enough, I talked to the mail lady when she dropped of the mail and she said our dog looks like Max but has Grinch feet 🤣

Let's go Max, time to think about hatching!

The anticipation is insane!!!!! I think the earliest one could hatch is tomorrow and the latest should be Tuesday as I think the SLW and one of the EE eggs I set on the 27th while all the others were the 26th.

I'm having trouble getting the humidity up, I have both reservoirs full (that keeps in between 40 and 50%) I added a jam jar with water, wetted a sponge plus have a papertowel dampened in there. The sponge and paper towel dry out fairly quickly and the humidity then falls back to 45 to 50%. I also have to crack the lid open to add the water for everything so I know that's a no-no for lockdown.

Paper towels tend to absorb moisture so remove those, just keep the sponge in the jar of water, make sure the sponge is big enough to stick out of the jar with water still in the jar.
