Eggs! Yay

.

I'm seriously considering popping them in the 'bator, which means at some point this winter I'll be running the generator. We're in an area that loses power frequently. I have Sportsman incubators and hatchers that already have emu trays. Do I, or don't I? Gotta decide soon. I've always let my male, Enoch, hatch the eggs, but this would be fun.

Up and running! This afternoon I set four emu eggs in the bator. Dang, the next several weeks are going to take forever. I should take up a hobby to occupy my time... otherwise my nose will be plastered to the plexi door on the GQF. Like the old Mervyn's commercials.... Open, open, open.

. I'll sell a few of the next eggs and then probably let Enoch have a nest. Woohoo!

I got one also my first for my 2 year olds but it was overlooked and not picked up till the next morning in 20 deg weather should kill any chance of hatching it

but i got my eyes open for the next ones

Congrats on the egg foulman! We have freezing temps tonight also. I collected an egg just minutes after it was laid to keep it from freezing overnight. I just love the emu eggs, so huge and such a beautiful color
