Ok, we have 7 chicks that are about 4-5 weeks old. They were all the same size at purchase but now I have one that is soo much bigger than the rest. It can't make it up to the roost where all of the other babies hang out during the day. It's very timid about jumping off of my lap when I'm sitting in the coop with them. It seems perfectly healthy; runs about, testing her wings, eats very, very well and seems content. Maybe it's the breed and is just heavy. I don't know what the breed is or the sex. Maybe this could be the indicator as to why. Any thoughts?
We call it Poof. Very fluffy and fat. This is Poof wanting up on the roost. It's about 2 feet off of the ground. Poof hits her? beak up there but falls back down.
