Chukar Cages

I have some sheet metal panels that would go nicely around three sides of my chukar cages, saving me the cost of hardware cloth. The only restriction I have is that the panels are 12" in width, which puts the height of the cage then at 12". Since these birds are being raised for meat only and once 16 wks. comes around they're in the freezer, does the 12" cage height pose any problems that you can see?

I see none as long as there is fresh air flowing threw. Bad air may mean sick or dead birds

Thanks for your comments Ralph. Air circulation is not a problem. I was a little concerned about the cage height is all. All my pm inquiries have not shown the height as a problem either.
