first off do you have to have a liscence for chukar im in central Texas and just acquired 5
What are chukar good for ?
Do you need a big pen ie flight pen?
Do they like to roost off ground or in a bush or something?
Do they get along with other birds, if i gotta build a pen might as well go big with more and differents birds like dove quail etc
Do the hens incubate there eggs?
What do they eat besides bag feed any fruits insects, how much waters needed ?
How much room per bird im looking at building a 20 foot long 10 wide 10 tall pen seem alright for 5?
These birds seem like a great addition very talkative and curious also group orientated not as wild as everyone says .

In most states you do. I'm pretty sure you Texas is one of those.
What are chukar good for ?
Eating. Or training dogs and then eating. Or just raising them so you can hatch the eggs and eat more chukars.

Not really, unless you want to flight condition them for dog training. 4-5 Sq ft per bird is ok for chukars.

not so much roost on a tree branch or anything but they do like hopping up on a tall rock to get a better view.

Chukars are about as aggressive of a bird as it gets. i don't recommend it but some people keep them with other birds

Not a chance.

16-18% crumble. I feed mine 19% purina game bird chow (flight conditioner)

During breeding season they have to be kept in pairs or trios or they will kill each other quickly fighting over mates and territory. The rest of the year they can be kept in a covey. They breed/lay eggs from may to august each year. Laying an egg every other day. It is pretty hard to tell males from females if you don't know exactly what you are looking at.

They aren't so much wild as they become aggressive (and even cannibalistic) at the drop of a hat. Anything upsets them, they'll kill one another.
