how can i tell if my chukar eggs are fertile? i try candling, but the shell is too dark. the eggs have been in the incubator for 3 weeks now.

If you can see a dark blob under the air cell, they are more than likely good. If not you will see the air cell and then just a shade darker. If they are fertile, it will be quite a bit darker. That is the only way I have been able to tell, and it doesn't tell you if they are forming right either.
