Ok I was just browsing around and I have found a few threads on here where people are claiming to have "churkeys" (a turkey/chicken cross) It was my understanding that you can't cross said birds. Maybe they have naked neck CHICKENS and are calling them a churkey? Please correct me if I am wrong. Just trying to get the facts. If such a thing actually exists could someone point me in a direction to get more info. Thanks

I have a feeling you are right about that! When we first got our turken Ken swore up and down it was a turkey chicken cross. He now knows better.

I have raised and sold naked necks (turkens) and had alot of people think they were a cross breed of a chicken and a turkey. I know that they are all chicken through and through.

Here are some of the Naked Necks that I raised. The white hen in the back is not a naked neck but she wanted in the shot LOL.
