I have a goose named Cindy she is a year old she is not doing very well lately the past couple days she is walking slow kind of wobbling not eating very much she's drinking but she's not as active she's letting me pick her up and her breathing is kind of heavy I've only had my two geese for about 3 months I think she may have ate something that she shouldn't have and I'm not sure how to help her anyone have any suggestions thank you

I'm new to goose ownership also but saw another thread relating to niacin deficiency and lameness. Might be a place to start. Good luck. Hope she's ok.

Is Cindy any better?

My year old gander just finished antibiotics (Baytril) for an unknown ailment. The most noticeable symptom was no appetite.

Do you have a local vet that will see her?

There are also several flushes on this website for geese if you suspect poisoning.

If you can give us more of her symptoms, maybe we can assist :)
