Thanks! He is proud of the ramp and I'm glad to have a handy guy around.
After 30 mins she was huddled under the coop near the feed can so I cornered her, picked her up, and put her to bed.
Phew, I didn't know if it was smart of me to open it up a little more or not. I know it still restricts her but she paces an awful lot. And I feel bad for her because I know she isn't all there compared to most birds. Her head shakes and she panics when the others have turned the corner around the shop where she can't see them. She would run in circles when approached as a chick instead of following her buddies. She is just an odd bird that needs a little more tlc than most.
She flaps her wings when she is free ranging with the girls to help her along sometimes(today when I let her try to go to bed by herself and over the past few days). I'm not sure if she has been favoring it more or less lately. The days of watching her closely are starting to smush together. I will keep you posted when things change. It looks like it will be a while before her foot gets better.
Why yes, it is after the Sheriff in Robin Hood! Good catch!

I think of the Sheriff, Trigger, and Nutsy when I see my three birds interact together normally. It just so happens that our head honcho is bigger than the other two. I have been referring to her as Bushel Britches for the past day just because she acts like she owns the place and puts the other two in their place very quickly. It seemed to fit at the moment. Trigger matches Henchman, and Nutsy of course seems more like Circles to me.
