circling chick

i don't know if this is suppose to be here or not. i have a 3 month old bantam light brahma that circles like its chasing its tail. it does this a couple of times and then walks normally for awhile then starts circling again. can anybody tell me what this sounds like?

Sounds like some neurological thing. Maybe a head injury? If he's not doing it continuously, he still has normal behavior, maybe it's minor. Is it getting better or worse?

gets worse when he is in a hurry, but usually stays the same

I'd check it's ears for any fluid/infection ... like people - an inner ear infection would throw off the equilibrium...

I guess medicated chick starter or an antibiotic wouldn't hurt to try (if you don't suspect anything else). (do continue the antibiotic for 7-10 days or else it'll do more harm than good to it's system)...

a vitamin supplement and probiotic would be worth a shot too.
