Heya Hey Everybody!
Yes, another newbie here both to BYC & to having them! I live in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia in what is called Public Housing. I started a project of a community garden in the shared back yard which now includes 4 hens. I am doing this on a wing & a prayer so to speak & wish to learn more so that my girls are happy & healthy.
I am a Ameristralian which is my own coined word for being a dual citizen of America & Australia. I have been in the land down under for just over 9 yrs now.
We have 4 hens & as far as I can tell 1 is a Leghorn cross, 1 is an Isa Brown crossed possibly a Buff Orphangton (?), 1 Isa Brown & the other one I have no idea other than it might be a silkie cross of some description.
I also have my own 2 rabbits which I have no idea what they are either! It happens when you get things for free & ppl don't remember what the breed is they are giving you.
