I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this.
I'm putting up my coop in the backyard tonight, and moving everyone outside. I would love to be able to let them roam around and play in my backyard when I'm home, and not be in the small coop and run all the time. However, I live in the city and don't want to bother the neighbors (who all have dogs). I have a fenced in back yard, very small. If I kept their wings clipped, would I need to be worried about them hopping the fence into the neighbors backyards or would I likely be alright? Its just a standard height chain link.

It really depends on the factors on both sides of the fence that would encourage/discourage any thoughts of wandering on the part of your birds and whether they are breeds that are normally inclined to such flightiness or heavy breeds who are hard pressed to make much of an attempt. If you do employ wing-clipping, clip just one wing rather than both - this is more effective to prevent escapes.
