Here is what is says : (Click the link to see the pics) I am teetering on hatching some goslings...

My pair of Embden geese have begun breeding, fertile hatching eggs can begin soon. Selling them by the each @ $12, total for the season will only be 10 to 15 eggs. These Embdens are very gentle and large, great grazers and foragers. I can be reached by emailing the link or phone (***) ***-****, these eggs are offered on the first come basis at $12 each, pick-up is preferred but I will ship for $12 additional for whatever number you purchase that can be in one delivery. The pictured egg was the first one last year, following ones were slightly smaller. My flock is NPIP tested for interstate sales. Later I'll have guinea fowl eggs and keets available also, the guinea flock includes almost every color. Save my number if you will seek guinea keets or eggs. I can accept cash or PayPal. Thanks.

Based on the pictures, the quality isn't great, so I think they are overpriced. Of course I would never pay $12 for any egg.

Just my opinion tho.

I think 12 is way toooo much for them, its not like they are rare or hard to find. They are pretty common breed to find. Now if they were the giant dewlaps, then 12 is a fair price to pay for them. Ive seen them listed in hatcheries for 25 an egg and day olds at 50.00 unsexed.

You want some will send them for the price of shipping save u 12.00 an egg Mine are a bit smallish but nice type have been shown and won for the last 2 yr in youth at fowlfest, Send me a pm if you want them

It depends on the quality/size of the embdens. The large exhibition type embdens don't start breeding until two years of age (I was told this by Holderread's wife), and also aren't the best layers.

Hatchery type embdens are a different story.

That price is insane. They look like hatchery birds and you could buy goslings for $6-8 a piece.

I sure hope the splotchy bird they have pictured isn't either of the parents. Embdens are pure white with absolutely no colored feathers.
