Hi I have 3 Royal Palm Turkeys, 1 tom and 2 females. We know that the tom has mated with one of the females, but we are not sure about the other because she got out and was gone for about 2 weeks. (Neighbors caught her) The mated female started laying eggs on the 22nd of last month. Then it seemed like the other female was laying two and in the same nest box as the other. We have over twenty eggs in the box and now the female that we dont know if she was breed is sitting on them.
I just want to know if this will cause a problem with the hens. The other female seems a little unsettled when I go out there. This is the first year we have tried hatching turkeys.
