Charlie is right, Clark's feet have chemical burns from standing and resting in filthy conditions. He is still sore but clearly making progress. I am not sure if the deformity will go away with time as the sores heal.
He runs with his girl Claudia during the day but he is fearful of my ducks and not used to the dog who lives in the bird pen. He is doing better by the day.
Claudia is very patient and seems to take care of him. She likes to lead him on jaunts when I open the gates to show him everything and when he can't follow here she goes back to him and waits. She is also sitting down for him to breed her but he has not responded. Too sore I believe but I expect he will improve with time.
He's pretty good about letting me carry him around and I am letting him run as long as I don't see him resting on his breast.
I do not have nasty footing though there is soft ground due to rain, he seems comfortable on that. Perhaps this feels a bit soothing to him.
