Gosh I am so nervous! I have to give a speach to a second grade class tomorow about chicks and incubating eggs and stuff like that.

Sorry just wanted to freak out somewhere to people who understand.

Just be yourself and you will be fine.I teach a Sunday School class every Sunday morning to adults and it's not as hard as you think.

So were at the tail end of day 20 and not even one pip from the first batch from the 1st grade class....

I hope the 2nd batch does better. The teacher has kept a pretty even temp but the humidity has been fluctuating. hmmmmmm............
This first batch of 8 eggs is due tomorow and the 2nd batch of eggs are due Wed of next week! I hope we at least see some pipping soon, even tomorow when the kids are there would be great!
Everyone please send great hatching vibes and dust for us over here in Eugene!

Thank you for your kind words writer! That means the world to me. It is wonderful to have people like you on the BYC forum to help me along stressing, and they are not even in my house! LOL!

I will keep you updated on if they hatch tomorow. That poor teacher did not get a hatch last time, I just want her to have goodluck this time. She is such a great teacher too!!!!!!!!

yours are not due till next week but these are other eggs that I recived early.

So now our 1st grade teacher has a staggered hatch. Well........

baby chicks have not made it out of the eggs!

Went to the classroom and then through the air holes I balked like a mother hen...well woulnt you know it , I got a reply!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought they were probably dead.
So hopefully tonight there will be a pip! The teacher is literaly going to stay the weekend at the school. LOL!

So please lots of fingers crossed for at least one out of the 5 we have now!

Ok well the little buggers came out super late and...out of the 5 we had in the incubator the finally tally is 4 that have made it!! YEA!
So now on to her next hatch which is going in the hatcher today and will be due on Wed, but knowing the temp that she is keeping it, they will probably arrive Thursday or Friday...just in time for the kids to see them!

My daughters 2nd grade clases hatch with the eggs and quail are going to hatch on Thursday. So 2 hatches at the same time! Gosh so excited!
When I candled the eggs for them they were soooo excited as well!
This is gonna be great!!!!!
