classroom hatches!

Wow, not bad! Your's are late, mine are early again! I put 6 Japanese eggs in the 'bator on the 2nd, two hatched today and the others are thinking about it. Maybe it's our high temps around here!

Yea this teacher has a fan w/turner and she is keeping it 98.9-99.0. She will not go above that cause she says she does not want to kill them. Oh well I guess it wont hurt...but what happens if the temps are too low??

Hmmmm....

Writer good luck with the rest of the quail!

In the first grade hatch....almost 100% hatch rate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had farmers and Marlons(scgamcock) eggs in there and they are all with pips or have hatched!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So excited and when I went to visit one of the eggs piped and zipped within 10 minutes! I got to see it all and the baby is the only all yellow one. This is from scgamcock eggs! Great eggs!!

As for the 2nd graders....
I had to remove 2 quail eggs that were stinking up the incubator.....but as I was checking them they were so active I felt one peck though the egg on my fingers!

Wow! I guess they are alive eh? Hahaha!

No hatching chickens yet but they are due on Thursday. They are rocking though.

Everyone please keep fingers crossed for the 2nd graders!
