classroom hatches!

Well I think the 2nd grade teacher is daft!! I know that is mean but I have told him over and over again what the temps and humidity need to be and it is always sooooo low on both ends every time I pick up my daughter. So,
these chicks are either dead or just waiting for the heat to be higher! I am so mad! :thun

Sorry I just need to majorly vent! And.....the temps have been at 95 for god knows how long!

I really feel bad for the kids and I wish there was somthing I could do, but what else could I have done for this teacher? The first grade teacher got it...she had a 90% hatch rate!

I am sorry about the 2nd grade clutch.

I had a similar experience with our preschool hatch. For various reasons there was pips but no hatches.
Luckily the people who supplied the quail eggs also had a supply of chicks that hatched the day ours were supposed to. We got some from them and put it in the classroom. The teacher didn't try to pass it of to the kids as if the classroom eggs hatched, but the kids were so excited.
I know there is a big difference between preschool and 2nd grade, but maybe you can try bringing is some chicks. I know it is not the same, but it can go a ways towards damage control.

Yea this is true.

I did find out the quail are hatching now! So that is exctiing!

I dont have high hopes for the chicken eggs though.....

Now we wait...

I can;t go to the school today because my daughter and son both have fevers!!
It seems everyone is sick around this house.

The teacher said he will keep me updated though so that is nice!

Ok I am gonna go back to bed. LOL! Stress!!
