I believe my two hens must have been roosting on our chain link fence as they have been known to do. My guess that the one must caught its middle claw on the fence when they flew off because thats where I found the most blood. It happened yesterday and when we found out, she was bleeding pretty bad. We immediately washed it off to be able to get a good look at it and it looks like she tore most of the claw off and im not certain if there is a possible break in the end of her toe. She is putting some pressure on it and is acting quite normal beside some limping.
My question is, will it most likely heal on it's own? Should I do something more to assess the situation? I haven't done anything besides wash it, should I put something on it?
