Clean eggs before setting?

I don't wash my eggs with soap. Just a quick warm water rinse to get the crud off. I will use a scratchy pad if the poop is really crusty....

i have 3 batches of shipped eggs and one of the batches had pretty dirty eggs...but i didn't wash them, they are now in lockdown, 10 outta 12 eggs made it to lockdown! yea!!

Greetings, Late tonight I'll set another batch of eggs in the bator. { We lost a batch that had been in the bator, we had no power for 3 days and 4 nights, the eggs had been in the bator for 3 days. All the eggs had development even the ones that were kept in the fridge.}

I'll set all eggs from yesterday and today cleaning them a little if nessary but without moisture.
