Anyone have a Idea how to keep their drinking water clean longer?

yes! there are these buckets that you can buy that has metal nipples in it and if its for chicks you can buy a rabbit waterer for them and teach them how to use it! both are simple!I use both for my chickens!

Yep, like on a big rubber horse mat, or on a wood platform.
Just DO NOT put bleach in the water. That is very bad for them

Okay, maybe it's not funny.

I meant that I haven't even tried to stop them from getting mud in the water.

Oh...why bother? It's just easier to refill the bucket than build a platform... I kinda get it now

I never bother stopping them... it's a losing battle
People (well, girls anyway) rub mud on their own faces and say it makes em look better... ducks bathing in muddy water must make em look better!

Yes, much easier! Ducks always get things there way, they just won't give up.
