I just cleaned my coop out yesterday to start the deep little method for winter. Can I put the shavings/manure I just cleaned out directly on my garden that I just cleaned off? Thank you!

I do that in the fall with the shavings/straw, and just let it set over the winter, and rototiller it in the spring.

Depends a bit where you are. If your ground will freeze in a couple of weeks and stay frozen solid until just before planting time, it might not have enough time to decompose. But for the vast majority of us, that works tremendously well.

It is best to allow it to "age" for a few months so really depends on if it will have time to do that in your garden. I would not use it on anything currently growing that you plan on eating without allowing the manure to compost first.
