What cleaning Soulutions are safe to use to clean the chicken coop and brooder

A watered down bleach solution will kill 99.99% of anything and is what we use to clean dog kennels. Use protective eye wear/gloves and rinse with water after washing.

Typically a solution of bleach 10% in water is sufficient to kill almost all viruses and bacteria. Solutions stronger than that tend to distort colors and can damage living tissue.

If you can leave it to dry, the chlorine is so unstable that it will degrade to a safe condition. If you cannot leave it to dry, rinse it off with plain water.
