clear stuff in ducklings mouth???

My duckling has been sneezing lately. He has deep enough water to dunk its head. A few times I have noticed when it was clearing the nostrils that some stuff came out. It was close to the color of his food and it was kinda clumpy. I am putting vitamin/ electrolytes in water. Every once and awhile I'll notice he will open his mouth kinda like a yawn. Today I noticed a little bit of clear stuff in its mouth. He is acting normal and eating a lot. Should I be worried?

I don't think you need to worry if your not seeing any thick discharge and it's eating and acting normal, sneezing could be from dust in the food to dust in the bedding and could the clear stuff have been water? I see my ducks yawn, do you have more than one ducklings? if so does the other one yawn.? Hopefully it's just new mama nerves. and nothing serious.

Well I only have one. It was rescued from my neibor. I know your supposed to have more than one but I am a stay at home mom so he gets lots and lots of attention. He's actually on towels. I clean them several times a day. I tried pine shavings and hay but he would eat them. It seems like he yawns a lot and maybe every once and a while he will stretch his neck out and open his mouth. It could have been water but it was when he was snuggling me. So it had been like 5 minutes of him not having water. When he sneezes nothing comes out and I haven't seen any discharge from his mouth or nose. He is active and eats a lot and still enjoys warm swims. He has a lamp on him. I just hope he's ok. I'm very attached.
